Albert has over thirty years of senior leadership experience in healthcare and medical technology, including several start-up medical device companies that were later acquired or went public. In addition, he was a founding board member of MassMEDIC, the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council.
Over the years, Albert has consistently demonstrated leadership, resilience, and perseverance while leading businesses worldwide from start-up to market dominance.
His experience includes establishing and managing direct operations and joint ventures in North America, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia-Pacific.
Albert served as President & CEO of Perthera, the Founder and President of OpenMed Technologies, President & CEO of Applied Fiberoptics, VP of International Operations at Biolink Corporation, VP of Marketing and Sales and Vice President of International Operations at Zoll Medical Corporation, and Director of Marketing and Sales at Catheter Technology Corporation.
Applied Fiberoptics was purchased for USD 300,000 and sold for USD 7.0 million three years after annual sales grew from under one million to $8 million.
Zoll Medical was described in The Wall Street Journal as one of the top ten most successful US IPOs of 1992 and was acquired in 2012 for USD 2.21 billion.
Catheter Technology (Groshong vascular access), a start-up, was sold after five years to Bard for USD 60 million (60 times earnings) and is now BD Access Systems, one of BD's most profitable and successful divisions.
Albert was awarded a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Carolyn graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Chemistry and from Boston University with an MEd in Science Education. She applied her education by teaching in public and private secondary schools for 17 years.
Recognizing the need to better manage her family's financial planning needs, Carolyn began studying all aspects of wealth management. Feeling that she had found her calling, she took her passion for teaching to the financial services industry.
Carolyn began her career in financial services with AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. Initially, she utilized her educational background to specialize as a retirement planning consultant for teachers and non-profit organizations.
Before founding SeaCure Advisors in 2014 and Pegaesus Advisors, Inc. in 2003, Carolyn was co-founder and Director of Planning for Lexington Advisors, Inc.
Featured in the Boston Globe and quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Carolyn has become a sought-after speaker for financial planning workshops and seminars, many of which she has authored.
Carolyn has volunteered in various community service organizations over the years. She has taught retirement planning at Technical Development Corporation, a management institute serving Boston and New England non-profits. She also is a continuing education instructor to CPAs, attorneys, and CFPs in Massachusetts.
She is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®. Carolyn is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, American Academy of Estate Planners, American Association of Individual Investors, and International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Inc.
In memory of her late husband Jack Howard, Carolyn provides pro bono financial planning services to patients and their families at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
